For the last few days, I've been working obsessively on a new video for The Price You Pay, a song from my upcoming album. The video is a montage of obscure archival footage from the 1900's and 1910's, and has led me through a strange, wonderful time warp as I've spent hours exploring the dark corners of archive.org (particularly the Prelinger Archives) and Pond 5's collection of public domain clips.
I love the way the video has come together and I can't wait to share it with you. For now, here are some stills from the project.
If you're looking for something to pass a rainy afternoon, I highly recommend checking out these sites. There are so many rare moments and oddities captured on film, like this cringe-inducing gem from the 1950's...
Stay tuned for the video release, and in the meantime, feel free to check out a preview of the album on Bandcamp. If you like, pre-order to receive an instant download of No Lines today!
